ARCVIEW VIEWING TIPS

When you load up the riparian coverages you have to remember to load up both the line layer and the polygon layer.  To do this, navigate to

 the folder containing the data you wish to add and then right click (or double click) on the folder for the riparian coverage (in this case q3810487)

in the Add Theme window.  Once you have done that load both the polygon & arc layers (use the shift key to select them both at the same time).

After you have loaded both layers into the view window you should see both the line & polygon themes in the view window.

Now load up the legend *.avl files (or, if using ArcMap, the .lyr files) for each theme (You should have the two 'example' legend files from the zip file -- legrip.avl

for the polygons & legripl.avl for the lines) and apply them.  Now when you click on the layers in the view window you should see the polygon & line features.
