Dominant Species: Rabbitbrush (Chrysothamnus sp.), Mormon tea (Ephedra sp.), horsebrush (Tetradymia sp.)
Description: Areas where erosion, burning, excessive livestock grazing or other natural or man made disturbance have resulted in a community dominated by shrubs with little value to livestock or wildlife.
